I agree with him when he says that it is not about finding out who you are, it's about creating who you are. Stop looking and do something that will make you what you want to be.

I too look at you tube and find some great inspirational videos that I take and preach to my students and athletes. One of my favorites Eric Thomas, I start every week with TGIM.

This is a great video! I love watching inspirational videos, especially those depicting the importance of dedication in sports. However, I believe the message goes beyond that; it's really depicting the significance of dedicating one's self to something of great worth. As a runner myself, I often find myself raising the same questions in my head, asking myself if I have what it takes to take it to the next level. This is where you create the image you desire to display, to inspire others as well. This is definitely a great video clip to show young athletes.

I do believe this would be helpful to motivate students in the athletic/ p.e. setting. Good choice.

Great video - thanks! I will definitely use it when talking to my student-athletes. Favorite line - "Real supermen don't leap over tall buildings in a single bound. They take small, determined steps consistently over a period of time."
